Now on to the clues!
1 - His codename comes from his age
Centennial
2 - The third to bear this codename, though there is no connection to the previous two
already found
3 - Keeping just slightly out of beat with others is the basis of this mutant's powers
Flashback
4 - His battlecry is connected to the reverse of his name
5 - Her connection to the Holy Roman Church isn't just her choice in codename
Aurora
Centennial is right, but none of the others are, sorry.... also, Necroleaf already guessed Aurora before...
1 point.

5 could be Saint Anna?
Nope, sorry.

Necroleaf wrote:
#4 is Namor (assuming his name in reverse is Roman and his usual battlecry is Imperious Rex)

i'm guessing #5 is Stigmata
Yes to both of them; 2 more points.

Whoa!! Very cool!! I love the updates/tweaks you made to the students. Huaji's dress and Blister's well....blisters are my favorites!! I wonder if there are more to come??

As for the remaining clue, how about the new mutant (not New Mutant) Eva?

Thank you; there will be more at some point, I just don't know when...
As for the clue, it's not Eva...
This mutant was introduced in the pages of New Mutants though....

i'm just going to go on a limb here and guess that #3 is Face?
because he is both blind, deaf and mute, and he can only communicate through morse code

Nope, not at all; this mutant's powers are temporally based; think of the word beat in terms of music; if you're playing off beat, your playing the wrong " _ _ _ _ _". This character was introduced in the New Mutants series and survived decimation.
As an added bonus, the word for time in French is very similar to this codename, with only one letter being changed to make it an English word.

5 - Stigmata

It is indeed!

1 - Centennial
2 - Neal Shaara
3 - Tempo
4 - Namor
5 - Stigmata

4 points for Necroleaf
1 point for Joebleau

So, as I had some time between all the clues being solved and Necroleaf securing the win, I was able to make his prize:
Here are the micros:

1 - His codename comes from his age - Centennial

2 - The third to bear this codename, though there is no connection to the previous two - Thunderbird III

3 - Keeping just slightly out of beat with others is the basis of this mutant's powers - Tempo

4 - His battlecry is connected to the reverse of his name - Namor

5 - Her connection to the Holy Roman Church isn't just her choice in codename - Stigmata

The prize is Manifold from Avengers (vol 5) #2

He'd requested from #1, but the ref was different than the foll body views I saw in the second issue; I may go back and make the first look, but I may wait and see if they show that variant again first

Credit to Anth and Kodiak for hair; Kodiak, Joffre, and TAS for micro refs.

Enjoy!

Awesome update mi amigo
Centennial looks nice,
Namor is cool, even the first one is 'ahem' interesting,
Tempo is great, surprised she had several looks (that's what happens when you get Rob Lefield as artist),
Neal and Stigmata are excellent!!
And thanks for Eden, he looks great!

Thanks! Centennial was pretty simple, nothing to get excited for, true; Namor's first look is actually supposed to be a sagging robe while he sits... it does look fairly sketch though, doesn't it?
There are actually more looks for Tempo as well... I'll get to those soon enough.
Neal was fun, and I remember someone pointing out that I needed to make the other looks of Ana, so I made her
Glad you like Eden... the hair was a nightmare to make, I don't know how Anth made the original hair I tried to emulate... gah!

Manifold has to be one of my favorites from this set. Though, I've always loved Thunderbird. I know he and Lifeguard "hooked up" but we haven't seen them since.

Thanks; the hair is tolerable; not as awesome as some people (Zoo, Darkling, Anth, likexaxfury, Joffre, Bobster, etc) could make, but I'm quite chuffed (Scots slang= pleased) with the end result.

TheDenDen wrote:

Thanks. I know that Thunderbird appeared once after leaving the X-Treme X-Men, and that was as the head of X-Corps Mumbai; as seen in the pages of Excalibur v3 #5. (pay attention to that info, could come back up as a clue later on...)
But you're right; neither Neal nor Heather (or indeed Davis) have reappeared since M-Day. Hopefully some writer will dust them off soon!

Here is another set of clues:
This is a team of superpowered beings; not all members made this list, as they were never categorized as mutants, only these ones were.
1 - Started off as just a vigilante, then went to the dark side
2 - A former mob enforcer, this guy's murder of another triggered his powers
3 - Considered herself a force of nature, she eventually fell into the fold of like-minded people
4 - Not really a member by anything other than birth... brother is sometimes leader
5 - A more soft-spoken version of Wolverine.... Hairier too...

The only team i could think of for this round might be Euro Force, i'm not sure if i'm wrong or right so this is just a wild guess

1 - Argento?
3 - Blue Condor?
4 - Nuage?
5 - Tiger?
